Am 10.12. gibt es die nächste  GOOD TH!NG Session von Carepack, dieses mal im M.I.K.Z. Berlin. Für diesen Abend haben wir keinen geringeren als Terry von  ATOMIC HOOLIGAN eingeladen.

Wo soll man anfangen über ihn zu erzählen?
DJ-Skills vom Herren, absoluter Globalplayer, 2 Alben und eine unendlich lange Liste von  Releases auf renommierten Labels, wie z.B. Funktional, Botchit and Scarper, Menu Music, Bass=Win, usw...
Es ist ein Hochgenuss zu hören wie er durch die unterschiedlichsten Musikstile gleitet und dabei den Partyfaktor am absoluten Oberlimit hält.
Wo Terry auftritt, wächst kein Gras mehr-versprochen!

Das Gleiche gilt für MALENTE. Sein Stil lässt sich am besten als basslastiger, funky Electro House bezeichnen. Seit 1999 wurden 5 Alben, etliche 12“ und Downloads verkauft, auf Labels wie Moonboutique, Dim Mak, Unique oder auch auf Southern Fried, dem Label von Fatboy Slim.
Ausser eigenen Produktionen remixte er auch Tracks von namhaften Musikern wie z.B. Armand van Helden, Moonbootica, Turntablerocker, Bob Sinclair, und, und, und…

Unterstützt werden die Jungs in dieser Nacht von den Lokalmatadoren Radek & Drawat, den Audiotrucs und von Makit & Aamcee.

Der 2. Floor wird von BAMBULE BERLIN gehostet, die in letzter Zeit mit etlichen Veranstaltungen auf sich aufmerksam gemacht haben. Nicht zuletzt durch ihre ausgefallenen Dekorationen, Kostüme und der Sets ihrer Resident DJs. Zu Gast sind ACID PAULI von Console, Magit Cacoon und Duke Raoul.

Wieder mal fegt der Karneval der Kulturen durch die bunten Straßen der Großstadt! Auch das Beliner Label Carepack Records ist zum 6.Mal mit von der Partie und wird eure Trommelfelle in alter Manier, mit wilden Beats aus Electro, Breaks, Dubstep und Drum`n Bass verwöhnen!
Holt die Masken aus dem Schrank, zieht dem Alltag eine Fratze an und schwingt mit uns das Tanzbein! Nicht nur auf die Ohren, sondern auch auf die Augen gibt es diesmal mit den Bambule-Mädels, die dem Carepack Wagen ganz im Sinne des Karnevals, ein neues, verschärftes Antlitz verleihen werden!

Ab 23 Uhr geht die Partybombe im Rosi´s richtig hoch! Für die Aftershowparty haben wir KRAFTY KUTS aus UK eingeladen. Krafty gilt als der Breaks DJ schlechthin und als absolute Nummer 1 im Bizz! Unterstützt wird er auf dem Mainfloor von Astma, Radek & Drawat, C.y.ber, Makit & Aamcee, Merlinizzl und MC Do. Den zweiten Floor und den Garten beschallen die Jungs von Bambule Berlin, Dressman und Wiesel & Captain Koma.

Karneval der Kulturen Umzug: Start Carepack-Wagen Nr. 88 ca. 15 Uhr vom Herrmannplatz, Berlin-Neukölln.

In March 19, 2011 it goes properly to the thing namely with the first "Good Th!ng".
We have invited several pioneers of the international break beat scene in the club VCF.

The 1. Room:

The Freestylers are valid as a quite hot iron of the dance music scene. Formed in 1996 when DJs and dance music producers Matt Cantor, Aston Harvey and (initially) Andrew Galea joined forces. All three of them had been involved in the British dance music scene since the 1980s. Cantor had recorded both as Cut n' Paste and Strike with Andy Gardner (Plump DJs).
Aston Harvey recorded as Blapps! Posse best known for the 1990 breakbeat dance hit "Don't Hold Back" before working with Definition of Sound, Rebel MC and DJ Rap (as DJ Rap and Aston). Harvey joined with Galea under the name Sol Brothers before Cantor was recruited to form the Freestylers.
The group took their name from their first sample "Don't Stop The Rock" by Freestyle Express. Beside their own dancefloor anthems like "B-Boy Stance" (featuring Tenor Fly) or "Push Up" (featuring Theo) to name but a few, the band were asked to remix tracks by Audioweb, Afrika Bambaataa and the Jungle Brothers.

The Mainz based B-Phreak is one of the most famous breakbeat exports from Germany. His musical influences are wide spread, they reach from hip-hop and breakbeats to techno, funk, house and electro. In the early 90's he also was a singer in a rock band and brought him additionally aspects of musical inspirations.
He sharped his skills and the love for electronic music, while working 7 years in a vinyl/cd shop.
B-Phreak's sets are mainly hit-oriented with a own kickin mixture of breaks, where the groove and funkyness are definitely not missing! He also play's some jackin house sets with a dirty, punchy and hypnotic flavour.
The fusion of different styles are also reflecting his own productions, which are settled in the tech/funky breaks-sector. He release tracks on well known labels like: Freakaboom, Boombox (as Slung Groove), Fat!, Splank!, Mofo, Gene Poole, Westway, Dead Famous, Dusted Breaks, Lucky Break, Viper Jive and the berlin based label Carepack. He has also done a track called "Break 'Ya Self" (Wipeout Edit) for the Sony PSP video game "Wipeout Pulse".

On the second dance floor it becomes musically more smooth and "4 to the Floor", but no less wild!
